Our “compassionate action” approach is rooted in the Sivananda
tradition and draws from both Hindu and Buddhist philosophies, as well as from
other teachings.
The weekend modules immerse students in Karma Yoga, Ayurveda, Relaxation, Union, Non-violence, and Anatomy
and physiology. The program introduces participants to a wide range of yoga
techniques and adaptations. In addition, guest speakers, field trips and
special assignments build upon requirements of the Yoga Alliance.
